Synopsis
With increasing numbers of the population developing diabetes, this is a subject which should be understood by care staff. This course focuses on the effects of diabetes, how carers can help support those with it, and their health needs.
The course examines the physiology behind diabetes, and gives useful information on how to incorporate it into your daily practice. It will also course emergency treatment of the serious medical emergencies it can cause.
