Synopsis
With 1 in 10 inpatients potentially developing a hospital acquired infection during their stay, infection control is an area where best practice is mandatory. 15-30% of these infections can be avoided by good infection control measures (HCAI Research Network 2009). The pain and discomfort the patient suffers can be unbearable, and all because of poor infection control measures. This course presents infection control in a practical and interactive manner.
