Male Catheterisation
Synopsis
In some areas of the country the reduced number of district nurses means a need for care home nurses to be competent in catheterisation. With 30-40% of hospital acquired infections being caused by poor catheter care, this course takes a look at best practice and techniques to reduce this from happening. The course is designed for nurses involved in this procedure and requires 5 catheterisations to be completed following the course to achieve competency. Price is for up to 12 students.
