Mental Capacity Act Awareness
Synopsis
With the introduction of the Mental Capacity Act (1995) comes an added responsibility to carers and families of those who may find it difficult to make a decision. This course is designed for anyone who works with people and may have a need to make a decision for somebody at some time in their lives.
It is especially important for those in elderly and learning disability care and takes an interactive look at what the mental capacity act means to staff who care for other people.
